New Texas Storm Jersey at the ICPL Lonestar Open 2024

Texas Storm was formed in 1991 and quickly made a name for itself as a powerhouse on the professional paintball circuit. Competing in the PSP series, the team became known for its skill, teamwork, and competitive spirit. However, in 2014, after a wildfire devastated their home field, Avid Paintball in Oklahoma, the team disbanded as a professional squad. While they stepped away from the pro circuit, the Texas Storm name lived on in 10-man events, a nod to the legacy they had built.
Now, in 2024, Texas Storm is gearing up for the ICPL Lone Star Open, bringing back some of its original spark. The team will hit the field in the brand-new 2025 MAXT Strike Paintball Jerseys and MAXT Elite Joggers, combining a fresh look with high-performance gear.
Ryan Gray is back at the helm, leading a team that blends familiar faces with renewed energy. Joining him are Texas Storm veterans like James “Tex” Christopher, known from Odyssey Paintball, and Doug Bryant and Chris Van De Valde, representing Lubbock’s Elite Paintball.
As they prepare to take the field, the focus is on playing hard, having fun, and honoring the name that still means so much to the paintball community. Texas Storm is back—not as a memory, but as a team ready to compete once more.
